Here's a little essay on being a show dog. At this point, we've gone to 2 shows. Eventually, Wanda will look up the details for me, I have other things to concentrate on! So, I guess I'll have to get selective as time goes by. But, for now, here are some highlights:

Well, my very first show and Wanda is late. So, I borrowed Kathleen from the Rileys because it's inappropriate for me to appear unescorted. I can do this with my eyes closed, all those classes!
We brought Wanda's nephew Dan camping with us for this weekend. He was a great help, and he can throw the kong REALLY far. I would have gone mad but for the boy.

The first day in the ring was a disaster, I got beaten by my old man! After Belleville, I thought it was going to be a cakewalk, but I got a rather rude awakening.
That's okay, because after I showed Wanda how little obedience I could do at one time, we went on to win points in the show ring. Focus, you know. I couldn't keep my mind on obedience, I was busy doing mind exercises for the show ring.

As soon as we waste the rest of the shots on the second roll (probably baby or cat pictures, yech) then I'll finish up the Woodlands line. Next weekend is Carp, so, I'll be back after that to let you know how it goes.
